Whether you're active in Ambit or not ... you MUST know this!


Every once in a while, I'm offered the opportunity to see through the eyes of those far more experienced. Each time I do, I come away with a greater understanding of where Ambit is heading and what's possible for each and every one of us.

Last night, a few of us had the opportunity to grab a bite to eat with EC Jay Emma and SC Johnny Pusateri after the Kingston business presentation. If you haven't taken the opportunity to spend some time with ECs and SCs who have a solid foundation in network marketing, I simply can't recommend the experience highly enough ... especially if network marketing is somewhat new to you.

I've asked Jay and Johnny if I might share some of the more thought-provoking parts of last night's conversation and they have generously agreed. So, here's what I want to share with you today...


Perspective is an amazing thing.

Both Johnny and Jay were Amway distributors for many years and have an inside perspective on how a phenomenally successful organization is run. Both described Amway's professionalism and ethics as unassailable. They compared Ambit's youth and present vitality with the powerful machine that is Amway and gave us a glimpse of where Ambit might be headed.

First, let me say that both Jay and Johnny felt that Ambit would one day surpass Amway (ranked #1 in the 2013 DSN Global 100) in terms of annual revenue. That's not a difficult thing to believe when you understand that the money we spend monthly per family on our energy is substantially greater than the average Amway customer or distributor spends buying Amway's fine products. That's one reason why Ambit's revenue is already more than 10% of Amway's annual revenue even though we operate in parts of just 9 states while Amway's markets span nearly 100 countries.


We are ... quite literally ... just getting started.

Simple math should show all of us that growing from 9 states to 15 states to 25 states and increasing our market share in current states will prove to be extremely powerful. Amway's products are all luxury items in the sense that we can all live life without them. Ambit's services are among life's few absolute necessities. And both Johnny and Jay offered that Ambit's compensation plan is so strong that even poorly performing Ambit consultants can make money. That isn't really the case in Amway.

While Ambit boasts 21 people who have earned more than $1 million in total earnings during their Ambit career, it's been reported that Amway has created more than 2,200 millionaires over 55 years, ranking them second only to Microsoft.

Imagine a day when there are 2,000 NCs in Ambit ... perhaps 15,000 ECs ... 100,000 SCs and so on. That day is coming.


How many of those SCs and ECs do you want on your team?

One of the most eye-opening parts of the conversation for me came when Jay and Johnny talked about just how powerful Amway's field leadership team was and the magnitude of what they accomplished.

For example, consider that each major team in Amway held Ambition-style events four times a year that were double or triple the size of Ambition 2013. Imagine five or ten major teams holding four events a year with attendance of 20,000 or more ... each!

Now, imagine a few years from now when Ambit's leaders, like Ray Montie, hold their own Ambition-like events and each event has 20,000 or more people.


Let that sink in for a moment.

Today, Ray recognizes SCs on the Sunday call. Imagine a day in the not-too-distant future when he won't be able to recognize all of the ECs and turns to interviewing brand new NCs every week. Do you realize how many RCs, SCs and ECs are created in the promotion of one new NC?

Are you starting to see the scope of the impact we can make in our families and in our communities? Or what impact will we make in this country over the next decade or two?

ECs who are building their businesses are, almost by definition, financially free.

SCs have had their lives changed simply through reducing financial stress.

RCs are changed by the glimpse they are offered of what's possible.

As Eric Worre says: It's a stone cold fact: we have a better way.


Today, Ray spotlights those making $8,000 month or $12,000 a month as something special. And it is special! But imagine a day when we don't even talk about the people making ten- or fifteen-thousand a month because they are so common.

Imagine being one of thousands and thousands of people who are earning $10,000 or more a month and it's nothing all that special! That's powerful!

Well, I thought my email would end here. Then Jay gave me even more to think about ...

Just when I thought I couldn't be more excited about Ambit's future and our role in it, Jay shared one more fact with me:

    90% of Amway's $11 billion in annual revenue is INTERNATIONAL.

That means that roughly $1.1 billion of their annual revenue is from within the United States.


Ambit already earns more than Amway does in the domestic market!

Imagine where we will be when our domestic revenue tops $8 billion or $10 billion and then we expand into international markets like Canada or Australia or Western Europe!! Ambit will be a domestic powerhouse before expanding internationally which will only explode corporate earnings and our residual income.

If your head isn't spinning with possibility and potential right now then you just might want to go back and look over some of those numbers again. Because suddenly, ten grand a month seems rather unimpressive. I, for one, look forward to those days.

Ray often talks about positioning. Being positioned for the next major expansion phase is critical to taking your business to the next level. Being a part of Ambit isn't enough. Being an MC or an RC or an SC isn't enough. You have to get yourself to SC or EC in a position to truly capitalize on the enormous wealth that this company and this opportunity are poised to create. And the secret to positioning is ACTION.

If you've allowed doubt about the company or doubt about the economy or doubt about your own capabilities take you out of action, then the good news is that there is a cure: Action! It will move you beyond doubt because ...

    action brings results,

    results bring experience,

    experience brings growth and

    growth is what leaders eat for breakfast as they spit out doubt.

As we wrapped up our evening, Johnny shared a little-known industry secret that vastly improves our chances of making life-altering money. I asked if it was okay for me to share that secret with you and he agreed. Here it is: Don't quit.

I know. We've all heard it before. The only 100% fool-proof way to fail in Ambit is to quit. Works every time.

But what if those who "quit" the business were really saying: "Now isn't the right time. I'll look at it again in the future when the timing is better." There will come a time when those who "quit" the business long ago will come back when they see that Ambit Energy has become a household name and they begin to realize what they had.

So, whether you're actively working your Ambit Energy business or you've put it on the back burner waiting for a better time, right NOW is the time to get more active than you've ever been. Action solidly built on the proven systems that we have in this business is what will lead each of us to where we all know we can go: to join those who've walked ahead of us and reached financial freedom.

You may be like most of us right now ... struggling ... perhaps feeling like this business is much more difficult than you expected.

If so, you're exactly where you're supposed to be.

And here's the key to getting past the struggling: keep struggling. Struggle is the universe’s way of reminding you that you’re not yet perfect.

As the late Jim Rohn said so often:

Don't wish it were easier. Wish you were better.

Get a little better each week. Learn from those who are slightly further down the path.

But whatever you do ... keep walking.

Before long, with patience and practice, you'll be running with the leaders.
